Tokmanni to open new store in Myyrmanni shopping centre in Vantaa

Tokmanni will open a new store without opening ceremonies in the Myyrmanni shopping centre in the Myyrmäki area of Vantaa on Thursday 19 March 2020 at 8.00 am. The new store will replace the Tokmanni in the neighbouring Isomyyri shopping centre, which will close on Friday 20 March 2020. Due to the coronavirus situation, Tokmanni is urging customers to avoid queuing and crowding the new store. Tokmanni may also limit the number of people admitted to the new store at one time to ensure an uncrowded, safe and flexible customer experience. This time, also due to the situation, Tokmanni will not hand out surprise buckets to customers.

The store, located on the second floor of the Myyrmanni shopping centre, has been designed in line with Tokmanni’s latest store concept, which emphasises easy and pleasant shopping. The stores in this concept feature wide aisles, informative signage and well-defined departments for different products.

The Tokmanni at the Myyrmanni shopping centre will offer a wide and attractive assortment of beauty, health and wellbeing, interior decoration, cleaning, clothing, leisure, home electronics, home renovation and seasonal products as well as non-perishable foods at very low prices.

The store, which has retail selling space of about 2,050 square metres, emphasises energy efficiency through the use of LED lighting, among other things. It will also have a recycling point for customers’ small waste electrical and electronic equipment. Just like the other Tokmanni stores, the store at Myyrmanni will serve its customers as a collection point for orders made through the Tokmanni online store.

“Our new retail space at the Myyrmanni shopping centre is very functional and will allow us to display our diverse product selection in a very customer-oriented way. The store is comfortable, modern and spacious,” says Tokmanni’s Sales and Marketing Director Mathias Kivikoski.

The store will employ around 15 retail sector professionals. The store, headed by Store Manager Janne Haikala, will be open on weekdays from 8 am to 9 pm, on Saturdays from 8 am to 8 pm and on Sundays from 10 am to 7 pm. The store’s address is Iskoskuja 3 A 1, 01600 Vantaa.

This time, due to the coronavirus situation, Tokmanni will not arrange an opening ceremony nor hand out surprise buckets to customers. Tokmanni may also limit the number of people admitted to the store at one time to ensure an uncrowded, safe and flexible customer experience. In this way Tokmanni aims to avoid unnecessary queuing and large crowds.
