“At Tokmanni Group, it is important to offer our employees opportunities to develop in their work and to maintain a good work-life balance.”

It is also essential for us that our employees are content and committed to their work and that teams have good team spirit.

Furthermore, we want to ensure that the people manufacturing our products work in appropriate conditions. We aim to build long-term relationships with suppliers of our private labels particularly in high-risk countries. In addition, we use third party audits and perform own social compliance audits to ensure that we know in which conditions our products are manufactured.

We ♥ charity work

Our Tokmanni variety discount retail chain has supported, for example, the MIELI Finnish Mental Health Association, a mental health NGO, since 2018, and the John Nurminen Foundation, an efficient rescuer of the Baltic Sea, since 2020. In addition, together with Unilever Finland, we have helped Hurstinapu, a charity organisation led by the Hursti family and known to the entire Finnish people, to help those in need since 2011. In Sweden, our Dollarstore variety discount retail chain has supported the work of Myrorna since 2025. Before that, Dollarstore had a long-term cooperation with the Stockholm City Mission.
